If you are experiencing issues connecting your Microsoft Calendar to Eric.ai, it might be due to missing permissions. To successfully sync your calendar, it's essential to grant all the required permissions during the sign-up process.

Problem 1: Missing Permissions

If you haven't accepted the requested permissions, you cannot sync your calendar with Eric.ai. Follow these steps:

  • Click the Accept button on the permissions requested pop-up to continue the calendar sync.

Problem 2: Admin Approval Required

If you do not have the necessary permissions to share your calendar with other apps, you will need to request approval from your organization's admin:

1. Request Permissions: Click the Request Approval button after justifying your request.

2. Check Status: After requesting permissions approval, you will be redirected to a page where you can check the status of your request by clicking the "Check permissions status" button.

  • If your admin approves your permissions, you will be redirected to the next step of your Eric.ai onboarding.

  • If permissions have not been granted yet, you will see a message indicating this, and you will need to check the permissions status again later.

Admin Approval Process

Your organization's admin will need to approve your request through the Microsoft Azure portal:

  1. Go to the Microsoft Entra ID.

  2. In the Manage menu, select Enterprise Applications.

  3. Under Activity, select Admin Consent Requests.

  4. Find the Eric.ai application, click on it and in opened window click Review Permissions and Consent.

After the admin approves, you should be able to continue.

Note: that it may take some time for Microsoft to update permission changes, so please try again if you cannot proceed immediately.

Problem 3: Unable to Request Permissions

If you see a screen indicating that you cannot request permissions, you will need to contact your organization's admin directly and ask them to either grant you the necessary permissions or allow you to request them.
