Prerequisites:
You have an Eric.ai account
You have installed the Eric.ai app within your Microsoft Office 365 tenant
You have invited Eric.ai to your meeting
There are several options that allow you to experience Eric.ai within your Microsoft Teams app.
To add the Eric.ai sidebar, you need to complete the following steps:
Navigate to the meeting that you have created and select join
You will be presented with your Microsoft Teams meeting window
At the top you will see a series of icons
Select the 3 dots ... and then select "Add an app"
Select Eric.ai and enter your username and password to authenticate
The Eric.ai sidebar will appear on the right hand side of your meeting window
To View the Eric.ai meeting page, you need to complete the following steps:
Open up Microsoft Teams and navigate to your meeting, select edit
Once you are in the meeting, click the + sign at the top of the window where the other tabs are (you will have "Chat" and "Files" already there by default. This will open the "Add a tab" window
Select the Eric.ai app and enter your username and password to authenticate
Once you have successfully authenticate the meeting page will be presented to you
To view Eric.ai within the Microsoft Teams chat, you need to complete the following steps:
1. Navigate to the meeting that you have created and select select join
2. Once the meeting has started, on the left hand side of you Microsoft Teams you should see a vertical list of icons.
3. Select Chat
4. Select the chat that corresponds to the meeting that you have joined
5. click the + sign at the top of the window where the other tabs are
6. Select the Eric.ai app and enter your username and password to authenticate
7. Once you have successfully authenticate the meeting page will be presented to you
You will need to add the Eric.ai separately for every meeting. If you add the sidebar to a recurring meeting, it will be available for all future meetings in that series of meetings.
The Eric.ai sidebar is only available when you download the Microsoft Teams app and install it on your computer. The sidebar is not supported within the web version of Microsoft Teams
